SeaTac Police / King County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind residents that they continue to see cars being stolen as they are warming up or left running in front of homes.

Police say that on Thursday, June 18, 2020, a deputy was dispatched to a vehicle theft which had occurred near the 18800 block of of 33rd Ave S. in SeaTac.

The owner told police that he had left his vehicle running, unattended, in front of his residence. He said he went back inside his home to brush his teeth and get his coffee. When he returned to the vehicle a few minutes later, it was gone.

“Please remember never leave your car running, unlocked and unattended. Car thieves drive around looking for this very thing.”
