A driver is in custody following a high-speed, multi-vehicle crash that killed one and injured three in SeaTac late Friday afternoon, June 21, 2024.
The fatal crash occurred in the 3200 block of South 200th Street (map below) shortly before 4:50 p.m., according to Puget Sound Fire, which first tweeted about the incident.
The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) reported that the collision involved two small sedans carrying four adults and one teenager.
Both vehicles have been impounded as part of the ongoing investigation, KCSO said.
Authorities noted that at least one passenger was trapped in a rolled-over vehicle before being extricated.
The injured were transported to Harborview Medical Center and other local hospitals, according to the KCSO.
