- WHERE: Areas impacted include Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Everett, Bremerton, Hood Canal, and the Lower Chehalis Valley, among others.
- WHEN: The strongest winds are expected to occur this morning, particularly from Seattle southward, before easing this afternoon.
Potential Impacts:
- Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
- Tree limbs may be blown down, possibly resulting in localized power outages.
- High-profile vehicles should exercise extra caution on the roads due to strong winds.
- Just expect that you’re going to lose power sometime!
The NWS advises residents to secure outdoor items and use caution while driving.
Peak wind gusts are expected to range between 30 and 50 mph, with the strongest winds occurring in areas in our south King County area.
