Sound Transit suspended Link light rail service between SeaTac/Airport Station and Angle Lake Station following a power outage caused by damage to overhead wires during Wednesday night’s severe thunderstorms.

Repair crews are working to restore service, but no estimated completion time has been provided.

Trains continue to operate between Lynnwood City Center Station and SeaTac/Airport Station, arriving approximately every 10 minutes. To assist passengers traveling to and from Angle Lake Station, Sound Transit has coordinated with King County Metro to add buses to the RapidRide A Line, which runs between Tukwila International Boulevard Station and Federal Way Transit Center, with stops at both SeaTac/Airport and Angle Lake stations.

Passengers can board the northbound RapidRide A Line at International Boulevard and South 200th Street to reach SeaTac/Airport Station, where they can transfer to the Link light rail toward Lynnwood. Real-time arrival information and schedules for the RapidRide A Line are available through King County Metro’s online tracking services.

Sound Transit will provide updates on the restoration of full service as information becomes available. Passengers are advised to check the Sound Transit website for the latest service alerts before planning their trips.
